I was actually aware of some of that about Harriet Tubman, because Cynthia Erivo (yes, THAT Cynthia) portrayed her in a movie, and I think it actually covered that part of her history.
Yeah I need to see the movie now - I had hesitated because the e role really should have gone tk a Black American woman, but I can’t deny her talent and will check it out.
